Wednesday, May 6, 2009 (AUSTIN,TX) - The Oklahoma City Thunder, led by 2008 NBA Rookie of the Year and former University of Texas Superstar Kevin Durant, are coming to Austin and the Frank Erwin Special Events Center to take on the San Antonio Spurs Tuesday, October 20, 2009 in an NBA preseason game. This will be Durant's first game back at UT since he was selected with the second pick in the 2007 NBA Draft.

Durant (25.3 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 2.8 apg) will team with guard Russell Westbrook (15.3 ppg, 5.3 apg, 4.9 rpg), as they go head-to-head against Spurs big man and former NBA MVP Tim Duncan (19.3 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 3.5 apg) and guard Tony Parker (22.0 ppg, 6.9 apg, 3.1 rpg).
